I was just 19, my mother and father just split and I felt lost in the world. I hopped on a bus and ran away to a Wallflowers concert, where, for a few brief hours in time I was separated from my unfortunate reality and was taken away into a world so different from my own. He swept me off my feet that night, and I have been in love with his music ever since. I will be getting married in July, and our wedding song is Something Good This Way Comes. As of May 5th, 2010, my baby brother passed away, and Down on Our Own Shield took a whole new meaning. Not the way Jakob wrote it I'm sure,but sitting in a pew in front of your lifeless brother, everything changes, forever. Thank you Jakob for allowing me an escape from my reality, day after day.
